Ethiopia earns US$ 1.1 billion from exports

Ethiopia on Thursday said it had generated US$ 1.1 billion from exports in the last five months.

The Ministry of Trade said the revenue exceeded last year figures by US$ 227.5 million.

State media said 35 types of agricultural and industrial products were exported to more than 120 countries during the period under review.

New Ethiopian Coffee Directive Retracted

The Ethiopian Ministry of  Trade retracted the directive that required all coffee exports to be shipped in container sized bags.

Ethiopia, India accede to work on agricultural researches

Ethiopia Earns $55 Million in Horticulture Exports

The Ethiopian Horticulture Development Agency announced that Ethiopia has earned 55 million US dollars in horticultural exports in the first quarter of this fiscal year. Ethiopian flowers displayed at 8th IFEX 2011
